About
There’s increasing conversation around connected packaging, QR codes, accessibility and the transition from traditional 1D barcodes to 2D codes — but many organisations are still unclear on what is actually changing and what readiness really involves.
This webinar is designed as a practical market level-set. Through an informal panel discussion, Jane Skelton (Nichols), Eddy Peters (io.tt) and Jose Castejon (NaviLens) will share real-world perspectives on how brands are approaching connected packaging today, where common misconceptions exist, and what needs to come together beyond simply adding a QR code to pack.
The session will explore the move to 2D codes as part of a broader shift affecting packaging operations, data, systems and internal alignment. It will also examine how connected packaging can support wider business goals — from transparency and consumer engagement to more accessible and inclusive product experiences for visually impaired consumers.
Reflecting the reality that many organisations are still on the journey, the discussion will offer honest insight into where the industry is today and the practical first steps brands can take next.
